Some help and hope
Triangle Neighbors is a grass roots nonprofit where volunteers and donors come together for neighbors in need. Our goal is to upgrade lives by upgrading homes ... restore some safety, dignity, and comfort to those without.
Our Impact
One home at a time
We stick with one project as long as needed. We want to get to know this person or family … and make a significant difference in their lives.
100 % Volunteer driven

Helping Carolyn
Carolyn is a kind and caring senior single lady. She grew up locally, spent 30 years in NY, then returned home to care for her aging parents … who are now gone.

Do You Know a Neighbor Who Needs Help? Here’s How to Think About Referring Someone
Sometimes the most important thing a community can do is simply notice and then act. If you know someone living in unsafe housing, you may be the only person who does.

Just Guys with Hammers and Why That’s the Point
No executive salaries. No grant applications. Just a group of neighbors who decided that helping meant actually showing up.

Carolyn’s Home: What We Found, and Why We Couldn’t Walk Away
An 800-square-foot house. A lifetime of memories. And a roof that had been leaking for years. This is the story of our first project and the woman who inspired it.

We are a registered NC non-profit.
What type of organization is Triangle Neighbors?
How is my donation used?
100% of your donation goes directly to project costs, materials, permits, and essential contractor services for our current and future cases. We’re an all-volunteer organization with no administrative overhead, which means every dollar you give makes a direct impact on transforming neighbors’ homes and lives.
Will I receive updates on how my donation was used?
Can I make a recurring donation?
How can I volunteer?
Are there other ways I can help besides donating?
Definitely! We need skilled volunteers (contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters), material donations, and people to spread the word about our mission. You can also refer neighbors in need of housing assistance. Even sharing our website with friends and family helps us reach more potential supporters.
