Triangle Neighbors, a registered NC non-profit, is a small group of old and new friends trying to help our friend Carolyn with some home improvement challenges.
Carolyn is a single senior south of Fuquay-Varina, hard working and kind. She returned to her family home 20 years ago to care for her parents.
Our goal is to provide Carolyn a safe and comfortable home that will take care of her for as long as she needs it. We've made progress. She is so appreciative. We need more help.

The home was built in 1969 by family members, for her parents and their 4 children. It was not fully completed.
There was never HVAC (space heaters and fans used instead). But our cold and hot extremes make the home dangerous for a senior, not to mention continually uncomfortable and stressful.
There has never been a working bath or shower, a luxury we take for granted. Wash pail baths sufficed. "That's how farmer's lived back then."
Other significant issues ... leaking roof, interior ceilings collapsing, half of the house without electricity, hot water heater breaking down, windows leaking and stuck, disintegrating siding, septic tank never service, etc.
